Bots or Voice?

Food for thought — bot interfaces and voice interfaces seem to be conflictiong platforms. Its interesting to wonder which one will come out first and go mainstream. I find it hard to imagine both succeeding for similar use cases in the future. Tasks that Alexa can do can be done by bots and vice versa. Feels like Voice wins convenience points whereas bots win functionality points. Curious to know what you and the people you mentioned in the piece think about this?
